There and Back Again

As promised, I’m back from my trip abroad to the UK with photos of some of the lovely things I saw.

I don’t think I can say enough good things about Belfast, Northern Ireland.  I loved the city, and I loved the people I met.  I loved walking the city center and getting lost amongst all of the street art.  I loved the Game of Thrones tours.

I think the best thing about my trip was spending time with friends (old and new) and bonding over a scavenger hunt.  That was the most fun I’ve had in a long time.  I definitely got my steps in that day (almost 9 miles).

The Game of Thrones stained glass windows were awesome and sprinkled around the city center.

Carrick-A-Rede Rope Bridge.

These doors were made from Dark Hedges trees that had fallen as a result of a storm.  There are 10 doors all over Northern Ireland near the filming locations.  It’s an excuse to return to Belfast, isn’t it?
