Game of Thrones

Yes, I’m still here… although I’ve missed a few letters (E and F – because I couldn’t think of anything worth while to write about), I  knew I couldn’t leave G alone.  Especially since we’re one week away from the final season of an epic TV show.

I’m not really going to spin fan theories or wax on about what’s happening (because it would take too much time to explain everything).  I just want to say that I would not have started watching if it weren’t for a friend of mine, who said I should see it.  So, since then, this show has changed a lot of my life… I’ve made friends in other countries because of the show – and going to fan conventions for the show, I’ve met some of the actors and found them to be just as awesome (if not more so) than their onscreen characters.  I’ve rediscovered my love of cross stitching and knitting.

Who wouldn’t love a show that has dragons AND zombies?

I’m almost positive that I probably won’t adore the prequels as much as the main show.  But, I’m hoping it’ll at least have the quality we’ve come to expect.

Season 8 will premier on April 14, 2019 on HBO.
